Project overview

In November 2024, I was invited to work as the sound recordist for a short film created for the HKMFA (創+作) competition. The film was shot in a forest near Tai Mo Shan, providing a unique and immersive setting. This experience allowed me to refine my sound recording skills while contributing to a creative project in a challenging outdoor environment.

Synopsis

故事講述天使墨菲活在天堂，快樂的過着規律的生活，上班回應人間禱告的電話。一天，墨菲收到凡人傷心的求助，但突然被截斷，墨菲感奇怪，發現痛苦的禱告都被機房篩走，所有天使都活在假象中，她被發現看到機密後被跌落人間。人間正經歷聖經中的嬰孩大屠殺，她經歷愛亦受盡分離之痛，她質疑上帝的愛，決定相信自己不再束縛在藩籬之中。

The story tells of the angel Murphy, who lives a happy and discipled life in heaven while responding to prayers from the mortal world. One day, Murphy receives a call for help from a sorrowful human, but the call suddenly gets cut off. Curious, Murphy discovers that the painful prayers are being filtered out by the control room, and the angels are all living a lie. After being seen witnessing this secret, she is cast down to the mortal world. The world is experiencing the biblical massacre of infants. Murphy undergoes love while also enduring the pain of separation. She questions God's love and decides to believe in herself, no longer bound by constraints.
